The Packer, Tom Burfield: “Supplies tight, prices high from Mexico” (14/02/2020)

Unusually cold, rainy weather in Guaymas and Sonora Mexico has affected crops of zucchini, squash, cucumbers, and tomatoes. Divine Flavor has been unable to promote some of its products because of lack of availability due to weather conditions in January. The hope is that these weather trends will not continue into March. Divine Flavor has been converting more of its growing facilities to greenhouse technology in order to ensure that crops are on schedule and that Divine Flavor can fulfill its programs.
