
Both California and Mexico growers began their spring table grape harvest much earlier than usual this season, promising excellent supplies of organic table grapes throughout May with the potential for solid retail promotions for most of the season.
“We are 20 days ahead of schedule,” said Anthony Vineyards’ John Harley, speaking of the start of California’s Coachella Valley grape deal. “We are already in our second week of harvest and it’s only the first week of May.”
