DIVINE FLAVOR REMAINS OPERATIONAL & OPEN FOR BUSINESS

Our Response to Covid-19

To our customers, partners, growers and to the extended Divine Flavor family,

From our produce growers in Latin America to our customers throughout the United States, the safety and well-being of families and employees has always been our number one priority. As concerns over COVID-19 multiply, we have implemented stringent measures in accordance with the CDC and public health organizations to remain your reliable source of fresh fruits and vegetables.

In these difficult times, our supply chain and operations remain up and running. We have ramped up food safety and sanitary control measures accordingly and have instructed our staff to work from home when possible. We are providing dependable information to educate our communities and allow our workers to work in a safe and caring environment.

Of note, COVID-19 is not considered a foodborne pathogen and there is no evidence from the FDA of transmission through food or food packaging.

As we closely monitor the situation, we pledge to do everything in our power to continue delivering healthy and nutritious fresh produce to tables across America. Together and more than ever, we are committed to growing better food for a better world.

On behalf of the Divine Flavor family, we wish everyone well and to stay healthy.

Sincerely,

The safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and consumers are always a top priority, so we will continue to provide updates based on information gathered from the Centers of Disease Control, as well as state and local health officials around the country.

The following information is from the U.S. Food & Drug Administration. More information can be found here.

· Currently there is no evidence of food or food packaging being associated with transmission of COVID-19.

· Coronaviruses are generally thought to be spread from person-to-person through respiratory droplets. Currently, there is no evidence to support transmission of COVID-19 by food. Unlike foodborne gastrointestinal (GI) viruses like norovirus and hepatitis A that often make people ill through contaminated food, SARS-CoV-2, which causes COVID-19, is a virus that causes respiratory illness. Foodborne exposure to this virus is not known to be a route of transmission.

· We do not anticipate that food products would need to be recalled or be withdrawn from the market because of COVID-19, as there is currently no evidence to support the transmission of COVID-19 associated with food or food packaging.

What our company is doing to respond to COVID-19.

To help inform, update, and educate our employees and growing partners, and so our customers are aware, Divine Flavor is already doing the following:

Communicating & Educating: Divine Flavor Management is closely monitoring the situation with COVID-19and informing our partners, farms and staff of the updates coming from the CDC and local state health officials, as well as the World Health Organization.

Increased Awareness & Food Safety Practices: Our employees and farmers are paying close attention to existing protocols related to good hygiene practices and the sick day policies. Although food safety and personal hygiene are already well established practices at our ranches, workers are even more being reminded of how important good personal hygiene can be and to stay home when feeling sick. We have included more hand sanitation systems throughout our operations and we are strictly enforcing personnel with illnesses not to work. Our company is also keeping a close eye on any local outbreaks, but as of now, all of our farm locations are considered low risk.

Review & Prepare: As a food provider, we play an integral role in supplying produce to customers and consumers all throughout the US and Canada. Although our farms and distribution warehouses may not be affected, there may be other parts of the supply chain that present obstacles to supplying our customers with the food they rely on. Our company is reviewing our options to make sure that any impact COVID-19 has on the market, our precious product still has the ability to reach the markets we service or, has secondary and third options in worst case scenarios.
