Organic Grapes are Finally Here!!
As we approach the start of the Sonora grape season, this is a special time of the year where retailers and consumers can finally get their hands on fresh organic table grapes from Divine Flavor. This week, we shine the spotlight on the start of the first organic grape shipments coming from Sonora, Mexico. For Divine Flavor and its vineyards at Grupo ALTA, growing organics is a specialty of the companies. In Mexico, Grupo ALTA was one of the first certified organic farms, and since then, they have put a heavy focus on growing organically at each of their farm locations in the state of Sonora.
As most already know, growing organics means using less chemicals, pesticides, or other artificial agents. Growing organic has benefits such as preserving the land which fruits and vegetables are grown, but more so, growing organics is a commitment to providing the healthiest products to consumers and their families.
